Why my verification has been rejected?

Modified on Mon, 18 Dec, 2023 at 3:28 PM

Personal account verification may be rejected due to the following reasons:

- Invalid document. To complete the verification successfully, you need to upload a valid and original document – passport, ID card, or residence permit issued in one of the supported countries.

- Non-machine-readable document. If you have used a non-machine-readable document version for your identification, the verification will fail. Please note that in order to successfully pass your verification, you must use a document with an MRZ zone and security marks.

- Poor-quality photo of your personal document. In order to complete the verification successfully, please upload an original picture of the document. Please check the quality of the photo after you take it, make sure that all data is readable and there is no reflected light captured on the document before you submit it.

- You’ve attached only one side of the ID card. Please go back to your dashboard, start the verification once again and provide both sides of your ID card.

- You do not reach the minimum age which is 18 years old for opening the account.

- You are using an expired document.

- AML screening match.

Sometimes personal account verification may require a manual review, documents resubmission or request of other additional documents by the relevant department. Thus such wallet verification may take longer than the usual 10 minutes.
